Beauty of Nature - A poem by Ancymol Ashok 9A

Beauty of Nature

On the bluish sky,
the brightest sun
Like the diamond
in the pond.

Dew drops shining,
in the sun rays
Like the pearls,
shining in the ocean.

Butterflies collect honey,
from the beautiful flowers
Who make our Earth,
a beauty...

My Dad is my Treasure - A poem by Anju K.S. 9A

My Dad is my Treasure

Father, you are my treasure
You love me a lot
You give me everything
I am glad because
You are the gift of God.

Dad you gleam in my life
When I am glum in my life
I can't laugh, I can't cry
Because if I begin to cry
Your heart will be shattered.

When I can't see you
I feel the pain of love
I remember your face at that time
I miss you a lot in my heart
Father you are my pleasure.

I love you Dad, really I love you
My love is not just for fun
It's like an ocean
Dad, please forgive me
If I ever made you sad.

I feel the depth of your love
I know your hard work
I know your heart
So I will try my level best
To fulfill you dreams.

I can't disown you
Because you are my Dad
You are my treasure
I am thankful to you for everything
I love you Dad, really I love you.

For my Mother - A poem by Ashma Nazer 9A

For my Mother

Passing along the lines
It was you and me
Carried into the world
Crying as a complaint
Winked at you the first
Close to your breast
And then in your arms
And then on your lap
Cradled like a doll
That was so precious to you
Then holding your fingers
I learned to walk.

Passing along the lines
It was you and me
Suddenly like a broken chord
I am left to myself
And you passed away along the clouds
Like a dream lost as I woke up
Now like a star
As I would love to see
Among other souls in heaven
You are bright and beautiful
"My Mom" I love you
Though you are far away.

Nature

Oh! Nature thou art a mystery
The foam-less waters running by
The valleys that are lush and green
The trees that crackle.

The wind that blows
And makes the flowers swing and sway
The birds that chirp sweet melodies
To their creator who's far above the sky so high.

The almighty whom we long to see
And yet sail to find in your arms
Oh thou knowest them all
The wonders all around.

The plants, the trees, the animals around
You cradle through out the night
And wake them up with a morning so bright
See nature, what to say
About the wonders which you behold.
